Casa Cultural is a program founded by Guadalupe Bojorquez in 2004 to bring art and culture to the children of Saybrook Park. Bojorquez and her daughter, Beatrice Bojorquez, manage the art center and set up each child with an individualized program according to age and experience. The kids learn layout and design, sketching and drawing, and painting in watercolor and acrylic. The center's aim is to teach children about different cultures through arts, crafts and music.

Throughout the year, Casa Cultural invites artists to talk to the children about their work and to share their techniques. In addition, participants visit museums, art galleries, art festivals, and they also have the opportunity to participate in art contests.

In December of 2008, Casa Cultural had the opportunity to participate in the Sawdust Art Festival in Laguna Beach, CA. Participants took third place in the Tree Decorating Contest.

Casa Cultural is the first art program of its kind in the Los Angeles Country Deparament od Parks and Recreation.
