About Arab American Affairs Magazine
The Arab-American Affairs magazine, based in Los Angeles, covers Arab-Americans and Arab world related news, views, business, culture and history. Founded in 1972, it is the oldest independent Arab-American magazine published in English by The News Circle Publishing House.
The publication's mission is not only to provide a voice to Arab Americans in Los Angeles and around the country, but also to serve as a forum on Arab issues. Its news team is comprised of mostly freelance and citizen journalist contributors from Southern California and nationwide.
The magazine is microfilmed by the American Historical Society at the University of Wisconsin, conserved in the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C., and archived at the Arab-American Historical Foundation.
Companions to the Arab American Affairs magazine are the Arab American Almanac, a comprehensive 550-page reference book about Arab Americans, and the Arab American Historian quarterly newsletter, which are also published by The News Circle Publishing House.
