On November 6th, California voters will be asked to vote on two initiatives that will have a dramatic impact on funding for the state's struggling public schools. To help reduce voter confusion on what may be the most complicated public policy issue in the state -- school finance -- EdSource has prepared the following infographic. We have only included what we regard as the principal similarities and difference between the two initiatives. Voters seeking more details can consult the multitude of resources listed on Page 8 of this infographic, the official California Information Guide, and the websites of the Prop. 30 and Prop. 38 campaigns.
