A fashion brand that uses banig, or hand-woven sleeping mats, for its fashion accessories is looking for help in recovering and rebuilding their facilities, and the lives of the Filipino weavers, embroiders, and artisans that comprise their company.
For the uninitiated, the 7th take of the music festival Outside Lands had become bigger and more outlandish with a twang of the 60s summer of love, colors and flowers abound. Though held in San Francisco, the festival had a strong presence of LA-based artists joining the impressive music line up.
